Dr. Dong (Bachelor of Medicine- TCM), is a fully qualified practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine with over 35 years of clinical experience, practising since 1989. He trained and practised in China before bringing his expertise to the UK, where he has collaborated with leading TCM practitioners throughout his career. He offers a comprehensive range of treatments including acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, cupping, and moxibustion at our clinic in Blaby, Leicester.

Dr. Dong holds a Bachelor of Medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine (BMed TCM) from Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, China- one of China's most prestigious and earliest-established TCM institutions, ranked among the top ten Traditional Chinese Medicine universities nationally.

This is a five-year clinical degree encompassing TCM theory, diagnostics, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and clinical practice. In the UK, this qualification is recognised as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree with honours (Level 6) by UK ENIC (formerly NARIC).

Dr. Dong is a full member of the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture UK (ATCM), membership verifiable at atcm.co.uk. All ATCM members are required to hold professional indemnity insurance, adhere to the ATCM Code of Ethics, and maintain continuing professional development.

Note: Dr. Dong is a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine and not a GMC-registered medical doctor. TCM is a complementary therapy practised alongside, not in place of, conventional medical care.
